Leonore Argraves

Leonore Argraves, 88, of Milford, beloved wife of Lawrence "Larry" Argraves, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Born on May 14, 1936, in Frankfurt, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Leonhard and Berta (Biehler) Paquee.
Leonore was a woman of many talents and boundless kindness. Fluent in both English and German, her love of learning and voracious appetite for reading shaped her outlook on life. For many years, she worked as a dedicated dental assistant, offering care and compassion to her patients. In her retirement, Leonore found joy in life's simple pleasures-tending to her garden, watching birds, and reveling in the beauty of nature. Her passion for classical music and her lovely singing voice led her to proudly participate in her church choir, sharing her gift with her community. A truly kind and gentle soul, Leonore never spoke a harsh word about others, choosing instead to extend a helping hand to those in need. Her greatest happiness came from time spent with her beloved husband and family, cherishing every moment together.
In addition to her loving husband, Larry, Leonore is survived by her children, Leonard Klancic, Victoria Szakal (Steve), and Branislava Worthley (Mark); her eight grandchildren, and her nine great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her first husband Ljubomir Klancic, two brothers, and one sister.
Friends and family may call from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT. Interment will follow at Milford Side Cemetery 1138 Racebrook Rd. Woodbridge, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
