Leota Foote, 91 of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
She was born on January 30, 1934, in Dodge, Nebraska, the daughter of Dr. Leo Joseph Pasonault and Milada (Bobisud) Pasonault. After graduating from Dodge High School in 1952, she worked for Woodmen of the World Insurance Company in Omaha for several years.
Leota Pasonault and Leland Foote were united in marriage on January 8, 1955 in Dodge, Nebraska. They were married for 68 years before Leland's death in 2023. Faith and family were everything to her.
Leota is survived by her son, Mike (wife, Nancy) Foote; daughters, LeeAnne Foote and Lori Foote, all of Lincoln. She has six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leland; her parents; son, Bruce; daughter, Kelly; and three siblings.
Rosary will be at 6:00 PM on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Butherus Maser and Love funeral home, 4040 A St, Lincoln.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 21, 2025 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 4500 Duxhall Drive, Lincoln.
