Leroy lived his life doing what he loved. Though he is no longer with us, his larger-than-life personality will be always remembered. Leroy had many interests which included a passion for riding his “Harley Davidson” motorcycle with his friends and went on many rides enjoying the great outdoors. Leroy was also a bird keeper and raised peacocks and homing doves. He also enjoyed the great outdoors, camping, fishing and enjoying his family.
Leroy was the beloved son to Ermelinda Martinez, the woman who raised him in Velarde, NM. Leroy was also the proud father of his only daughter, Cathy Aragon, whom he loved dearly. Leroy is unconditionally loved and will be missed dearly by his grandchildren; Angelique Aragon and Angel Martinez; great grandchildren Devon, David and Dajiah Aragon; sisters Lucille Sanchez and Rose Alsop; brother Patrick Sanchez; nieces Durine Aguilar, Julie Sandoval, Laura Vigil, Amy Hewlett, Francis Montoya, Betty Montoya, Kristina Jackson, Marlene Schmidt; great nieces Jamaica Aguilar, Savanna Ortiz, Reina Sandoval, Rayben Sandoval Jr.; nephews Donny Martinez; Joey Montoya, Orbin Montoya, Joseph Jackson, Anthony Jackson, Michael Alsop, Sean Alsop, Derek Schmidt; great nephews Jabie Serna, Ben Serna.
