Les Masters Obituary
On January 19, 1965 Les was born to the late Ruddy Masters and Patricia (Niewald) Barton.
Les was a waiter at Gasper's for 20 years, worked at the University Hospital for 22 years and was recently employed with the Fulton State Hospital. He loved his two dogs, Daisy and Rascal. Les was an advocate for Missing Missouri, Wrongful Convictions, and Second Chance No Kill Animal Shelter. He also participated in the Polar Plunge. In his spare time, Les enjoyed exploring, hiking, and watching eagles.
Les will be lovingly missed by his mother, brothers, Ruddy Masters II, Daniel Masters, and Charles Barton; sisters, Lisa Masters Thomas and Adrianne Barton Epperson; and two nieces and two nephews.
Celebration of life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Auxvasse Community Building, 702 S Main Street, Auxvasse, Missouri 65231.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Second Chance No Kill Animal Shelter, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.
