Leslie Anne Hodge Campbell of McKinney, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a sudden illness. She was 42 years old.
Born September 22,1983 in Denison, Texas, Leslie was known for her kindness, big heart, and joyful spirit. She loved spending time with her family and friends, always bringing laughter and warmth wherever she went. She had a passion for travel and was always on the go, eager to see new places and make lasting memories. She had exceptionally good planning abilities, which she happily shared when planning travel and fun events for loved ones. She was also a voracious reader, always in the middle of a good book.
After graduating from Tom Bean High School, Leslie went on to earn a degree in business from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. This laid the foundation for the later success in her career.
She married the love of her life, Clay D. Campbell on July 18, 2020. They met when they both worked with the Target Corporation and embarked on a 17-year life of adventure. One of the happiest parts of the adventure was being a mother to her stepson Colin Campbell.
Leslie worked with Public Storage for the last 15 years achieving her role as Regional Vice-President. She enjoyed her work, friends, and created a family there too. As she did with all other aspects of her life, she threw herself into the task whole-heartedly.
She leaves behind her husband Clay and stepson Colin; her mother Lorie Nave Brockner and stepfather Ron; her grandmother Ruby Nave Sinden; her father Steven Hodge and stepmother Nicki; her grandmother AdaElla Hodge; her brother Jerrod Hodge; stepbrothers Andrew Baas and Christopher Baas; and a wide circle of extended family and friends. She had several cherished nieces and nephews to whom she was the most wonderful Aunt. She also says goodbye to her beloved springer spaniels Abby, Sophie, and Skye.
