Leslie Ann Hurling

Leslie Ann Hurling was born September 16, 1957 in Plainfield, NJ to the late Lester R. Hurling, Jr. and Catherine Hurling. She departed this life on December 26, 2022 at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ after a brief illness at the age of 66.
She was raised in Scotch Plains, NJ and graduated from Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School. She was employed by The State of New Jersey at the Department of Children and Families Regional School for 34 years as a bus driver and maintenance worker.
Leslie was a very kind, caring and giving person. She always offered her assistance no matter how big or small the task. She enjoyed decorating the school for every holiday and sharing pictures of those projects with family members. Leslie was also a hard worker who was meticulous and organized.
Leslie had a love for classic movies, classic cars, dogs, horses, playing sports, working out, and listening to music of which she had a large collection. She enjoyed putting together puzzles, framing them and giving them as gifts. She also enjoyed drawing and was an excellent artist. Leslie loved caring for her nieces and enjoyed playing games with them when they were younger.
She is predeceased by her parents Lester and Catherine Hurling, a daughter, Letrisha Ann Hurling, a sister Kathryn Hurling and a nephew Robert Hurling.
Leslie leaves behind to cherish her memories a brother, Lester Michael Hurling (Sandi) of Piscataway, NJ ; a sister Jeannie Hurling (Ambrosia) of Cary, NC; an Uncle, Lawrence Hurling (Denise) of Lithonia, GA; an Aunt, Betty Reed of Bethlehem, PA and two nieces Shannon Hurling of Jersey City, NJ and Rashida Hurling of Colorado Springs, CO and a host of relatives and friends.
