Leslie Carl Singleton

Leslie (Lecky) Carl Singleton, Sr., passed away peacefully at The Sanctuary at Passages Hospice in New Orleans on April 23,2005. Leslie was born March 21, 1963, to the late Solomon Sr. and Mathilda Gordon Singleton. He was the father of Dadrick and Leslie, Jr., brother of Ronald Baker, Alice (Anthony) Jackson, Solomon (Janice) Singleton, Sr., Carol (Robin) Jackson, Mary (Jimmy) Martin, Bryan (Paula) Singleton, Sr., Paula (Michael) Spalding. Leslie served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Gnot Barge Company offshore for many years. He leaves to cherish his memories, his two sons, 3 brothers, 4 sisters ,4 brothers-in-law, 2 sisters-in-law, two aunts, Eva Adams and Olivia Gordon, close cousin, Rev. Roland Fiffie, Jr., a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, Solomon, Sr. and Mathilda Gordon Singleton. Graveside service at Historic Bell Baptist Church Cemetery, 300 Hackberry Street, Luling. Rev. Roland Fiffie, Jr., Officiating
