Leslie Dale Stamper

Leslie Dale Stamper, 74 years, 5 months, 18 days old, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 3, 2023 at his home with his wife Stephanie by his side.
Dale was born October 15, 1948 in Ava, MO to Leslie C. and Merdith Irene (Bloomer) Stamper.
He was a 1966 graduate of Ava High School. Dale enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1967, and he served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1970.
On October 12, 1973 Dale and Stephanie Jo Hobbs were united in marriage at Ava, MO.
He was a retired Plant Superintendent from Kawneer Inc., an aluminum fabrication company in Springdale, AR. He worked there for 11 years. Dale was a member of the VFW out of Rogers, AR.
In 2001, the couple moved back to Ava to spend more time with their families. He enjoyed golfing, visiting with his family, riding his Spyder motorcycle and traveling in his motor home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Merdith.
Dale is survived by his wife, Stephanie of the home; three brothers, Arthur Stamper, Vaughn & Letha Stamper, and Marvin Stamper; nieces and nephews, Shelly Hill and husband London, Travis Stamper and wife Crystal, Kathy Holman and husband, John, Christopher Stamper and Leslie Stamper; other family and friends.
Per Dale's, request cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. There will be no services.
