Leslie I. Widholm

Leslie I. Widholm, born on September 6, to Wallace R. Widholm and Nancy Dow in Hartford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully in her home on February 24, 2025. She was 66 years old. Leslie was a dedicated professional, currently employed as a Receptionist/Order Processor at Smurfit Westrock in Greensboro. Known for her kind heart and warm smile, Leslie made lasting friendships throughout her career and was cherished by all who knew her.
Leslie's passion for animals, especially her beloved cat, Cub, defined much of her life. She was an avid cat lover, and her connection with Cub was a source of joy and comfort.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wallace R. Widholm; mother, Nancy Dow; brother, Wallace J. Widholm; and long-time partner, John "J.P." Peters. Leslie leaves behind an extended family and a close-knit group of friends who became like family to her.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Leslie's life will be held at a later date, as arranged by her dear friends.

Leslie will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit, kindness, and love for life will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
