Lester Lee Dotson, passed away on January 18th, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on August 11th, 1949, in Danville, Kentucky to the late Lester and Edith Jett Dotson.
It was in the great outdoors where Lester found solace and true happiness, whether he was hunting or fishing. He was always the first to lend a helping hand, and his generosity knew no bounds. His kind-hearted nature and unwavering support brought joy and comfort to those around him. Whenever there was a need, Lester would be there, ready to offer his assistance and make a lasting impact on the lives of others. In his leisure time, Lester had a passion for watching westerns, shooting billiards, or playing cards with family and friends.
Lester's contagious laughter and witty jokes will forever be missed, leaving behind cherished memories that his loved ones will hold close to their hearts. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his son Lester Lee Dotson, Jr., his brother James Ray Dotson.
Lester is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years Shirley Caudill Dotson, his son Charles Ray Dotson, granddaughter Hannah Fayeth Dotson, his sister Ada Louise Harris, sister-in-law Mary Dotson, several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be 5 p.m., Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Visitation will be 3 – 5 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the memorial service.
