Lester L. Gabe, 62, of Medina, Ohio, died Thursday, August 15, 2024 at his residence, following a period of declining health.
He was born January 14, 1962 in Waverly, Iowa to Charles Gabe and Beverly (Buchholz) Gabe Young and has lived most of his life in the Medina, Ohio area.
Lester was a self-employed Sandblaster working for various places and was a master at his trade. He thoroughly enjoyed working and loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved collecting any type of eagle memorabilia, motorcycles and was a jack-of-all trades, he could fix or do anything.
Surviving is his mother, Beverly Young; love of his life, Lois Sizemore; sisters, Laura (Patrick) Fitzpatrick and Lois (Chris) Kelly; brothers, LeRoy (Chris) Gabe and LaVern Gabe; step-daughters Coaline McPheeters, Alicia Spicer and Christina (Kyle) Blake; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Gabe; step-father, Roger Young; and Step-daughter, Ashley.
Per Lester's wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services.
