Lester Warner Obituary
He was born May 22, 1934 in Lodi to the late Lester J. and Doris (Baker) Warner. Junior graduated from Lodi High School in 1952 and entered the U.S. Army shortly thereafter, serving during the Korean War before being honorably discharged in 1955. He married Pearl Wilson on Feb. 11, 1955. Junior was a retired truck driver, having been employed by Don Grimm Trucking for 38 years. He was a member of the Lodi American Legion Post #523 and was a lifetime resident of Lodi. Junior enjoyed golfing, riding his Harleys, playing pool and poker with his friends, mowing his yard and had a passion for cars.
He is survived by his daughter, Pam (Karl) Hagelin; grandchildren, Jason (Teresa) Kern and Sara (Shane) Butler; 5 great-grandchildren, Spencer, Madaline, Kain, Carrisa and Delilah; sister-in-law, Maretta Warner; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl; sister, Patricia (and her husband Merrill) Miller; and brother, Dennis Warner.
A special thank you to Sadie Lesure for being such a good friend to Junior.
Private services and burial with military honors will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America.

My dear brother in law, Junior. I have so many memories of you that I will always cherish. You were a kind, funny and gentle family member.
You were always thoughtful. When, your sister in law , Lora came to visit, . you always took us out to dinner. When my husband Hyel was very ill with cancer, you visited him often. I remember you asking Hyel if he would like to take a trip. He wasn´t able, but your kindness made him happy. There are so many things I would like to say, but in wrapping it up, you were one of a kind.
P.S. Junior, I have to say this, you scared me when you drove. You drove fast , and on the bumper of the car in front of you.
REST IN PEACE MY DEAR BROTHER IN LAW.
