Letitia Young "Tish" Lyles

Mrs. Letitia "Tish" Young Lyles, 82, passed away peacefully at home Monday, January 29, 2024. She was born in Gastonia, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Lee Young and Lula Connor Young.
Mrs. Lyles was a member of Second Baptist Church of Lancaster. She loved The Lord, her family, and encouraging others. Tish lived a fruitful life serving The Lord and covering others in prayer.
Mrs. Lyles is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, David "Dave" Lyles, daughter Leah Johnston (Jason), sons Hunter Lyles (Lisa) and Woody Lyles (Mandy), sisters, Velma Sullivan and Rachel Davis, 14 grandchildren, Anna, Isabella, Quentin; Lauren, Lindsey, Laney, Andy; Hannah, Sarah, Singer, Serenity; Clarissa, Rebekah, Megan; and 8 great grandchildren, Kyler, Kenan, Nova; Remington and Maverick; Paisley and Penelope; and James.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Zills, brother, Richard Young, sisters, Helen Reary, Betty Bullard, and Lois Fish, and her grandson Johnny Bradley.
The family will receive visitors Friday, February 2nd at 10 am with a service to follow at 11am at Lancaster Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Dr. Brian Saxon. A graveside service will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery in Fort Lawn, SC.
Memorial contributions may be made to Second Baptist Church of Lancaster.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or Hospice of Lancaster.
