Lettie Cox Clark, 84 years young, of Canton, TX, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

Lettie W. Clark was born on November 14, 1940, to H. H. Cox, Jr. and Hazel Luttrell Cox. She spent her early years in Kaufman County, TX, then the family moved to Mesquite, TX. Lettie married William Earnest Bryant and moved to Kansas City where their son Randy was born, then came back to live in Texas. Lettie and Earnest divorced, and she married Jack Clark. They moved to Wills Point, TX in 1976 and she lived there until Jack passed away, then moved to Canton to live with her father and care for him.

Lettie began her career with Texas Instruments where she worked for 30+ years while continuing her education and obtained her bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science and math. After retirement from TI, Lettie then worked for the Wills Point Chamber of Commerce. After retiring from the Chamber, she became involved with Life Line.

Lettie enjoyed playing piano at her church, Good Hope Baptist Church, where she was also very active in the women's ministry. Lettie sang in a trio for many years, traveling to sing at other churches, events and for the elderly in retirement homes. Lettie was strong in her Christian faith, had a huge heart, and believed it was her calling to love others and help anyone in any way she could, making them feel truly valued.

Lettie adored her cat Jethro and was an avid reader. She loved football and would be cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Dallas Cowboys any time they played. Above all, she cherished time spent with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, H. and Hazel Cox, husband Jack Clark, brothers Robert Dale Cox, Douglas Cox, William Paul Cox, and son Randall Bryant.

Lettie is survived by her sister, Norma Oldham of Mesa AZ, brother Curtis Cox and wife Darlene of Greenville TX, sister in law Carol Cox of Greenville TX, daughter in law Robin Bryant, grandchildren, Kobi Taylor and husband Todd, and Bobby Bryant, great grandchildren, Laynie Taylor, Colson Taylor and Ezekiel Bryant, many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends whom she loved dearly.

Already laid to rest, in Heaven with her Lord and Savior. Lettie was laid to rest at Kyser Cemetery in Kaufman county. Services were under the direction of Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home. A book will be available at the funeral home this week to sign or leave condolences.
