It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Lety, who departed this world on Wednesday, March 12th, at the age of 71. A loving sister, cherished aunt, and devoted great aunt, Lety was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She part of a family of 13 siblings, and her warmth, compassion, and selflessness touched the hearts of not only her immediate family but countless others in her community.
Lety was deeply devoted to her faith and her church family. She was a fixture of kindness and generosity, always eager to lend a helping hand and offer words of encouragement to those in need. Her unwavering faith was a guiding force, and her commitment to her community was felt by all. Whether through her involvement in church activities, her comforting presence, or her sincere prayers, she consistently spread love, light, and positivity wherever she went.
While Lety will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of her siblings, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and all who were fortunate to know her. She leaves behind a powerful example of how to live a life full of love, compassion, and grace.
Cherished sister of Virginia Thickett and her husband Nigel, Fernando Cayabyab and his wife Lua, and Elena Wahab. Beloved aunt of Liam Thickett, Louise Thickett, Renalyn Cayabyab, Ian Cayabyab, and Ethan Cayabyab.
