William Sanyshyn, 80, of Paramus, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025. Before retiring, William worked for Port Authority Trans Hudson as a Train Conductor for over 30 years. He was a Member of Our Lady of the Visitation R.C church in Paramus. William enjoyed spending his days in his recliner watching Old Westerns, the History Channel, and TV marathons especially Hawaii 5-0 Fridays. But mostly he enjoyed watching football on Sundays and the Yankees with his girls.
Cherished husband of Nancy Sanyshyn (nee Czerepaka). Loving father of daughters, Jennifer and Kimberly Sanyshyn. Treasured brother to sister, Barbara Zidiak, Frank Sanyshyn, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Maryann and Raymond Rokosz. William is survived by nieces and nephews, Nicole, Kristen, John,Mark,Frankie. Predeceased by his brother, Robert Sanyshyn.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday October 14, 2025 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Service will be held at 9:30am on Wednesday October 15, 2025, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church 234 N. Farview Avenue Paramus. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ
