Levi Augusta Givens, 19, of Benton, Arkansas, departed this life on October 24, 2024 in Mena, Arkansas. He was born on July 29, 2005, in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Keith Graves and Jolene Waters. On July 31, 2009, Chris and Tammy Givens became mom and dad to Levi along with his siblings.

Levi graduated from Benton High School in May of 2024. Levi was employed at McDonalds. He was multi-talented in music and artwork. Levi loved to travel. He had been to 21 states and loved going on all the trips. His favorite vacation stop was Nickelodeon Studios. He stood in line for hours to be slimed. He loved eating breakfast with the Ninja Turtles, Sponge Bob, Patrick, and Mr. Crabs. In the words of Levi, “this was the best week of my life.”

Levi was a member of Northside Church of Christ. He loved God and his church family. Levi found friendships with all the widows at Northside. He enjoyed going to visit them and bringing a little bit of light into their world. His BFF was Mr. Jeff Davis. Levi invited Mr. Jeff to all of his birthday parties and school performances. Levi wanted Northside to be intergenerational and proved that by loving all the widows.

Levi had a smile that would light up any room. He had a big heart and was a loyal friend. He would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. Levi loved to bargain and trade things. His favorite store was the LEVI store. He thought it was neat that a store was named after him! Levi wore black pants with a hoodie that had LEVI’S written on it most of the time. He spent most of his time listening to music, playing games, putting puzzles together, fishing, and hanging out with friends.

Levi is survived by his parents, Tammy and Chris Givens; brother, Izaya Givens who is in the Army in Washington State; brother, Gabe Givens of the home; sister, Naomi Givens of the home; paternal grandparents, Bill and Pat Givens; and host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who love Levi and will miss him always.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Joe and Pat Arnold.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, October 31 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street in Benton. Funeral service, officiated by Jim Gardner, will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 1 at Northside Church of Christ in Benton. Burial to follow at Rosemont Cemetery with Tim Arnold, Tom Davis, Izaya Givens, Evan Rippee, Cody Bradford and Gabe Givens assisting as pallbearers.
