Lewis Larson
EMERY- Lewis Ray Larson passed away peacefully in Emery, Utah on March 6, 2024, at the age of 61.
He was born August 26,1962 in Modesto, California to Robert and Magdelena Larson.
His teenage years were spent in Nephi, Ut. He enjoyed extreme sports, with motorcycles, driving fast cars, and getting into trouble with his brothers.
He did everything a young man could dream of doing- raced cars (was in the red and gold division), played music and he started his own band when he was sixteen.
He became a father at 20 when he had Robert with his first wife Leslie Coombs.
He had three more children, Dezeray, Krystal and Lewis Jr. in his second marriage. He found love with Kimberly and Brandon; they became a blended family of 7 on 12/17/1991. The pair went on to have three more children, Melissa Kate, Joshua, and Jacob.
He lived his life the way he wanted to and to the fullest. He was a firefighter and he was the first man to become certified on the tower training in Price, Utah
Lewis was a journeyman carpenter, tower crane operator, and for a time owned his own concrete finishing business.
He was a hard worker providing for his family but still found time to spend with his children. He coached little league, took his daughters on "daddy daughter dates". He instilled his love of the outdoors in his children, always taking them on adventures, rabbit hunting in particular was an activity he enjoyed with his kids. He especially enjoyed fishing with his family.
Lewis was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to camp, fish, and hunt. He was always happiest when he was on the mountain.
Lewis was loved by many and will be missed by all. He had many grandchildren that he loved with his whole heart. He enjoyed spending time with them and teaching them life lessons. He was always good at finding ways to have fun with the grandbabies.
As dad would say "This sucks, but it could always suck more."
