He was born May 6, 1956 in Levelland, Texas to the late Marin C. Orona and Olene Batiest Orona.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home, 500 E. Main Street, Grand Prairie, Texas 75050 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Burial will follow immediately at Mountain Creek Cemetery, 2099 Hardy Road, Grand Prairie, Texas 75051
Lewis is survived by his wife Janeth Orona, children; Antonella Orona, Aitana Orona, Christy Segura and her husband Oscar, Doris Veloz and Fabian Veloz, grandchildren; Taylor Orona, Carlos Diaz, Robert Diaz, Ramiro Meza and Tadeo Meza, great-grandchildren; Jason Lopez, Arianna Rodriguez and Avaros Ramirez, siblings; Joe Orona, Mario Orona and Darlene Gonzalez.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marin and Olen Orona, siblings; James King, Johnny Orona, Gregory Orona, Leroy Orona, Jesse Orona, Mike Orona, Pablo Orona, Nancy Orona, Madelene Baker and Dora Ward.
