She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Ken Van Tassel, her parents Lexie Harper and Ruth Mathis and grandson, Parker Van Tassel.
She is survived by her 5 children, Deby Davis, Ted (Patti), David, Tim (Barbara) Van Tassel and Holly (Keith) Richard. 10 grandchildren; Brian (Jessica), Kelly, Stuart (Joni) Davis; Sherry (Roger) Barker and Derek (Cassandra) Van Tassel; Megan (Joe) Clarkson and Andrew Van Tassel; Luke (Maris) and Lance (Marti) Richard and Lexie (Seth) Christian, and 11 geat-granchildren; Tucker and Delaney Davis, Lorelan Harris, Aslan Ladd, Sophie Barker, Taj Van Tassel, Titan and Bella Clarkson, Evan Van Tassel, Rhett and Cameron Richard; along with her brother Jimmy Mathis and nephews and niece.
Services for Lexie Ruth will be Monday, January 23, 2023 at 11:00 am (central), First United Methodist Church, Clifton Texas.
