Liam Christopher Grant passed away on March 19, 2025. Liam was a great son, a wonderful brother, and a terrific friend to so many. Fiercely intelligent, wildly funny, Liam had a tremendous beauty inside of him. He will be deeply, deeply missed by those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Erin Philyaw; his grandmother, Patricia Grant; his grandfather, John W. Grant; his grandmother, Patricia Naylor; his grandfather, Bruce Naylor; his uncle, Thomas Grant; and his aunt, Shauna Grant. Liam is survived by: his father, Michael Grant; his beloved brother, Dermot Grant; his grandfather, Lynn Philyaw; his grandmother, Cyndee Philyaw; his aunt, Susan Grant; his aunt, Jana Csenger; his uncle, Michael Csenger; and his cousins, Scott Schwendener, Kevin Schwendener, Kate Schwendener, John Lynch, Alexis Csenger, and Matinicus Csenger.
For those that knew my son, Liam Grant, we will be having a memorial celebration of life on Saturday May 31st from 3pm to 5pm at the Four Moon Tavern, 1847 W. Roscoe Street in Chicago. Appetizers will be provided, cash bar.
