Liam Alexander King

Liam Alexander King, age 7, of Asheboro went to be with the Lord September 9, 2025. He was born March 10, 2018 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina the beloved son of Jose Luis Reyes and Brenda King.

Liam, Guy B. Teachey Elementary School in Asheboro where he attended classes that worked closely with his autism. By family and close friends, he was affectionately known as "Papito". Liam was always a beacon of joy and a source of inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him. With a colorful and bubbly personality, his infectious smile could light up any room. Liam's zest for life was evident in the simplest of pleasures-whether indulging in his favorite snacks and chocolate or strumming tunes on his guitar with unmatched enthusiasm. A true lover of music, he found joy in jamming out to country songs and could turn anything into an impromptu drum set. Though nonverbal, his melodic spirit extended to singing, often bringing smiles to those around him. Liam's days were filled with laughter and discovery, from watching beloved programs like Word Party and Daniel Tiger to embracing his inner love for water at the beach or pool. His two canine companions, Bruno who always shared snacks with him daily and Milo his constant shadow and protector always brought a bit of levity to the home. Liam's ability to uplift others was remarkable. His happy demeanor and ever-present grin made him a cherished presence in the lives of family, friends, and teachers alike. Though he leaves a profound void, the memories of his shining light and joyous soul will forever resonate in the hearts of those he touched.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted parents, Brenda King and Jose Reyes; sisters, Lyla Rose Reyes and Kaylee Gray Rojas; uncles, Willie Rojas and Philip King; grandfather, Felipe Rico; close family friends, Ana Olvera, Rachel Thomas and Luis Ramirez; and numerous other beloved family and friends.
