Libbie Carroll Berry, 92, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, in Madison, MS. Born on December 19, 1933, in Oak Grove, LA, she lived a long and meaningful life marked by compassion, dedication, and grace.

Libbie was the daughter of Ben Carroll and Gladys Carroll. She grew up in Beulah/Goodwill community, went to Forest School and later graduated from Oak Grove High School. She married Pete Berry and remained deeply connected to her roots throughout her life. A woman of strong faith, Libbie was a devoted member of the First Church of God and later became an active member of Olde Towne Community Church in Ridgeland after relocating there.

For many years, Libbie owned and operated the Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio in Oak Grove. Through her work, she not only helped others feel beautiful but also built lasting relationships with those who walked through her doors. Her studio became a place where clients and friends felt welcomed and valued-reflecting Libbie's caring nature and genuine respect for others.

Libbie was known for her warmth and kindness. She had a gift for making people feel seen and appreciated, and she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her compassionate spirit touched countless lives across generations.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, C.H. (Pete) Berry; her parents, Ben and Gladys Carroll; and other cherished family members.

Libbie is lovingly remembered by her son, Tony Berry; her daughter-in-law, Tina Berry; her grandson Jordan Berry; four great grandchildren; her sister Peggy Henderson; her brother Von Carroll; her sister-in-law Betty Carroll; and many nephews who held her dear.
