Lila Maestas, age 86, born in Alcalde, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on March 17, 2025.Mrs. Maestas is survived by her sister, JoAnn Archuleta and husband, Adonais; children, Andrew Maestas and wife, Rebecca, Arlene Maestas, Allen Maestas and wife, Roseanne; grandchildren, Andrea and husband, Jeff, Joel and wife, Yoonmee, Jason and wife, Jordyn, Jonathan and partner, Kelly; great-grandchildren, Carolina, Andres, Olivia, Jayden, Jace, Jay, and James; Several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliby; parents, Abenicio and Isabel Ortiz; sister, Orlinda Maestas; brother, Johnny Ortiz, and grandson, Josh Maestas. A Visitation will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. all to take place in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW. with a burial at the Santa Fe National Cemetery 501 N. Guadalupe St. in Santa Fe where she will be laid to rest with her husband Oliby Maestas.
