Lillian Grace Blight "Gracie" August 29, 2015 - March 4, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lillian Grace "Gracie" Blight, who left us on March 4, 2025, in Idaho Falls, where she was born on August 29, 2015. Gracie brought immense joy and light to her family, despite her short time with us.
Gracie was the cherished youngest daughter of Derreck and Tasha Blight. She was the beloved sister of Klara, Austin, and Hannah. Her radiant smile and gentle presence will be forever missed by her loving grandparents and extended family.
Gracie's impact was profound and far-reaching. She loved traveling, especially family car trips to Disneyland, where her laughter and excitement were infectious. Music and Disney shows were among her favorite things, and her face would light up with those she loved, though she was selective about sharing her precious smiles.
Gracie was the heartbeat of her family's adventures, inspiring them to explore and cherish every moment together. Her unique way of touching lives, despite her challenges in communication, has left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was truly the center of her family's world.
A celebration of Gracie's life will be held on March 15th at 11 am at the the Moreland 6th Ward, 100 North 740 W. The family will meet with friends on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. in Blackfoot and again on Saturday at the church for an hour prior to services. Interment will follow at the Moreland Cemetery.
