Lillian Ruth Cabral

Lillian Ruth Cabral of Lakeville died on March 24, 2026. She was 66.

Lilly was born on November 4, 1959 in Fall River and was raised in the Paul Dever State School.

She was among the first residents to move into the community at her home in Lakeville, where she has resided for almost 30 years. She enjoyed the inground pool, pool parties and spending time outside enjoying the summer weather. Lilly loved animals, especially dogs. Prior to Covid, she was a longtime member of the Red Hat Society, where she participated in many group outings. Lilly has been a member of the Lakeville COA attending programming, art classes and musical performances. She loved sweets, spicy food and seafood, enjoyed baseball games, the New England Revolution soccer games and races at Seekonk Speedway. She was a beloved member of the residence at Long Point Road in Lakeville to both housemates and staff members. She was tiny but mighty - giving many people a run for their money when assisting her with activity. Lilly also enjoyed quiet times listening to books on tape or music.

Lillian was a cherished member of the BAMSI community for over 20 years, where she brought joy, kindness, and friendship to all who knew her. She was well loved by both peers and staff, and her presence brightened each day she attended. Lillian formed many meaningful friendships and will be remembered for the warmth and happiness she shared so freely. She will be deeply missed by everyone at Middleboro Day Hab.

Lilly is survived by family members, caregivers and friends. She will be missed.

Funeral services on April 2, 2026 (Thursday) at 10 AM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro.

Visitation on April 2, 2026 (Thursday) from 9 until 10 AM.

Burial will be private.
