Lillian Brunetto DiProspero, 94, passed away peacefully at her son's home in Martinsville on Sunday, November 19, 2023.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visit the Dooley Colonial Home; 556 Westfield Ave., Westfield on Friday, November 24th from 3-7PM and on Saturday, November 25th from 10:30-11AM. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Lillian was born and raised in Westfield. She settled in Scotch Plains for many years to raise her family and returned to Westfield.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph C. DiProspero, who died in 2014; her three sisters, Frances, Ida and Nellie; and her brother, Sam. She is survived by her sons; Joseph and his wife Elizabeth, Thomas and his wife Karen, James and his wife Patricia and John DiProspero. She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren; Matthew, Carolyn Albright (Drew) and Nicolas, her great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Rae; and her brothers, John and Charles Brunetto.
