Lillian Mae (Entzel) Hanson, age 89, of Park Rapids, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids. The burial of her cremated remains will occur in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery in Park Rapids.
Lillian was born on July 4th, 1936, to Christopher and Ida (Bonnet) Entzel, in Bismarck, North Dakota. She grew up in Columbia Falls, MT, and graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 1954. On November 16, 1953 she married Donald Andreoff and the couple had nine children. After Don passed in 1971, Lillian married Arlie Hanson on June 28, 1974, and the family moved to Maple Plain, Minnesota before building a home in Nevis, MN. For several years she and Arlie worked together for RDO until her retirement in the late 1990’s, but Lillian’s true calling was as a mother and homemaker. After Arlie’s passing in 2010, she moved to Park Rapids.
Lillian was a longtime member of New Life Community Church in Park Rapids. She enjoyed baking and cooking for family and friends. She also loved riding motorcycles with her son and grandson. She and Arlie shared a passion for square dancing and had won awards at the county fair. Lillian loved music. She played guitar, yodeled, and wrote and performed her own songs.
Lillian is survived by her children: Donny Andreoff of Park Rapids, MN; Roy (Charissia) Andreoff of Menahga, MN; Charlene Harris of West Brockton, AL; Karen (Steve) Naber of Nevis, MN; Wayne (Loretta) Andreoff of Lake George, MN; Gene Andreoff of Park rapids, MN; Cheryl (Larry) Hamlin of New York Mills, MN; and Linda Andreoff of Park Rapids, MN; a brother, Roger Bonnet of Iola, KS; a sister, Bonnie Bonnet of Columbia Falls, MT; brothers-in-law, Jack Stuart of Idaho; three stepsons: Doug Hanson of Sauk Rapids, MN; Robert (Riia) Hanson of Fredricksburg, VA; and Duane (Kathy) Hanson of Monticello, MN; 31 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Christopher and Ida; her husbands, Donald Andreoff and Arlie Hanson; a son, Billy Andreoff; a brother, Albert (Betty) Entzel; three sisters: Janice Bonnet, Deloris Entzel, and Della Stuart; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Edelman; sons-in-law, William Nagle and Paul Esary; and a stillborn grandchild, Christopher Nagle
