Lillie Bell Jenkins Wilson was called to glory on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at the age of 95. She was a native of Norway, S.C. and a resident of Gretna, LA. Lillie served faithfully on the Deaconess Board and was mother of Israel Baptist Church. Beloved wife of the late Joesia Wilson, Sr. Loving mother of Judy Drawsand, Joesia (Cynthia) Wilson, and Freddie Wilson. Grandmother of the late Khian Drawsand and Olivia Wilson. Daughter of the late Joe Jenkins and Louise Patrick Jenkins. Sister of the late Jimmy (Ellen) Jenkins, Sr., Joe Wyman (Eva) Jenkins, Jessie (Virginia) Jenkins, Gilbert (Victoria) Jenkins, Daniel (Bertha) Jenkins, Isaiah Jenkins, Nicholas Jenkins, Edward Jenkins, Rosa Lee Frederick, Luemisher (Louis) Stevenson, and Julia (Willie) Hardwell. Sister in law of Gussie Jenkins, and Delores Jenkins, also survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Israel Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Israel Baptist 1612 Esther Street Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Darrell McKinnies, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA.
