Amanda Green Harvey, 54, departed this earthly life, with her loving family by her side, on Thursday, August 7, 2025. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Amanda was a proud graduate of Rabouin High School. Amanda was a faithful member of Mount Calvary International Worship Center. Loving mother of Tariana Green. Beloved daughter of the late Willie Parker Sr. and Helena Green. Granddaughter of the late Elnora Broussard. Sister of Kevin Green, Gregory Green, Dalena Green (Peter), Wanda Bourgeois Green, and the late Valinda Barnes and Gena Marie Green. Godmother of Holly Magee, Curshika Trumble and NuNu, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mount Calvary International Worship Center, and neighboring churches; employees of Davita Dialysis are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Mount Calvary International Worship Center, 1600 Westwood Drive, Marrero, LA, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 10:00am. Apostle Terry Gullage, Sr. officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:00am to 10:00am. Interment: Providence Memorial Park Cemetery Metairie, LA.
