Mrs. Lillie Beatrice Knight, 81, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina transitioned on January 6, 2023.
Lillie Beatrice Knight daughter of the late Isaiah Draughn and Lillie Mae Powell was born on February 24, 1941 in Edgecombe County, North Carolina and departed this earthly life on January 6, 2023.
Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Alphonso Knight; daughter, Sabrina Suggs Rogers; two sons, Jimmy Ray Suggs and Timothy Suggs.
She departed this life with great love, kindness, compassion, and at peace. During her transition, she was cared for by her granddaughter, Christina Mercer(Keith). Forever memories are also shared by her daughter, Katrina McFadden; three sons, Anthony Suggs(Irma), Milton Suggs and Jesse Anthony(Linda); thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Visitation for Ms. Hodges will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in the Rocky Mount chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home located at 325 Nash Street in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. The interment will take place privately.
