Lillie Jones Nobles, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend passed away peacefully at St. Frances Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana on Saturday, September 13, 2025, with her loving family at her side.

Lillie was born on December 9, 1940, in Harrisonburg, Louisiana to Cliffton and Ruthie Jones. She graduated from Rayville High School in 1959. She met her husband at Rayville Bus Station where she worked at the time. They were married on December 9, 1959, and spent the next thirty-one years building a life rooted in love and laughter.

Most of her life Lillie was a homemaker. Later in life she became a CNA and Sitter. With Lillie's warm heart and gentle spirit, she deeply cherished all her patients she encountered over the years. She loved attending her church and her Faith Sunday School Class. Lillie brought smiles to many, filling their lives with joy and laughter. Her memory will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her greatest joy in life was her family and loved ones. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, she loved watching football especially "her" New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers. And finally, if you knew her, she "loved" getting her nails done.

Those left to cherish Lillie's memory are her daughter, Tina Silk and her husband Eric of Rayville, Louisiana; Jackie Garrett her son at heart and his wife Rhonda also of Rayville; grandchildren, Maddison Silk and his wife Karlee of Winnsboro and Addison Greer, her grandson "at heart" of Rayville; Mandy Garrett Silk and Misty Garrett Hays of Rayville; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and her grand dogs, Drago and Aspen.

Lillie is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Nobles, her parents, Clifton and Ruthie Jones, her in-laws, Willie and Willie Mae "Red" Nobles; her siblings, Andrew Jones, Bonnie Lewis, Lucille Stampley and Helen Gardner.

A gathering of friends and family will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2025, at Griffin Funeral Home located at 911 Warren Drive in West Monroe. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Start Baptist Church located at 892 Charleston Drive, Rayville, LA 71269 with Brother Jeff Thomas officiating. Burial to follow at Start Cemetery in Rayville.

Those Honoring Lillie as Pallbearers will be her nephews, Robert Garrett, Jackie Garrett, James Lewis, Jerry Lewis, Dewayne Lewis, Charles Ray Gardner, Alvin Jones, Thomas Jones, and Eugene Stampley.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Willie Ray "Buddy" Nobles, Jr., Mike Nobles, Bryan Nobles, Jim Adams, Robert White and Bendel Clack.

The family would like to thank St. Francis Medical Center and Staff, Dr. Gordan Massengale and Dr. Albert Kerr for their kindness shown to Lillie over the years.
