Lillie M. Thompson, age 85, of Cincinnati, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 21, 2024. Born on March 3, 1939, in Manchester, Kentucky, she was the cherished daughter of Ester and Mary Ferguson (nee Gross).
Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Lonzo "Lonnie" Thompson, beloved mother, Mary, her father, Ester, and her ten siblings. She is survived by her devoted son, Jeffrey K. (Linda) Thompson, Sr.; grandsons, Jeffrey K. (Sarah) Thompson, Jr. and Justin C. Thompson (fiancée Hailey); step-children, Calvin (Polly) Thompson; Brenda (Herman) Dingey, Lonita (Mike) Williams, and Andy (Sherry Goins) Thompson; along with a host of other family members and friends who will continue to honor her legacy.
Lillie loved going to church, playing the piano, sewing and crafts, and loved being with her friends.
A funeral ceremony to celebrate Lillie's life will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM, with a visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
