It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lilly Lee Patman, 18, who passed away unexpectedly in a tragic hunting incident. Born on July 31, 2005, Lilly brought joy and warmth into the lives of all who knew her.
She began her educational journey at Thomas Dale High School (2019-2021) before moving on to Ignite Christian Academy. In 2023, she proudly graduated from Ignite Christian Academy and embarked on her higher education at Brightpoint Community College. Lilly was a dedicated student, displaying her commitment to academic excellence by earning a place on the Dean's List at Brightpoint Community College with a remarkable 4.0 GPA. Her dreams of becoming a social worker reflected her compassionate nature and her desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Lilly was a talented athlete, showcasing her skills on the softball field. She played for Hit Doctor, SWAT, and Thomas Dale JV teams, leaving a lasting impression with her sportsmanship and dedication.
A devoted Christian, Lilly found solace and strength in her faith. She cherished moments spent with her family, being a source of unwavering support and love. Lilly was not only a loving sister but also the best friend to her three siblings, sharing countless cherished memories with them.
In her free time, Lilly found joy in various activities, such as working out, boxing, hunting, and fishing. She was an avid animal lover, always ready to lend a caring hand to any creature in need. Lilly had a creative side, enjoying digital arts and photography, and found relaxation in playing video games and listening to music.
While we mourn the loss of a beautiful soul, we also celebrate the impact she had on our lives and the lives of those around her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and the communities she touched.
She is survived be her parents, Grace and Clint Patman, Sr.; siblings, Violet Patman Billeter (Eric), Camellia Patman (Cameron Cullop), Clinton Patman II; beloved bearded dragon, Rango Patman; cherished pet ducks, Pecker and JD; and other extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. The family will receive friends before the service on Saturday from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
