A memorial service for Micheal Edwin Patman will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. A reception and celebration will follow the service at Our Place Restaurant, 211 S. Caddo Street, Cleburne, TX 76031.
Michael Edwin Patman was born on January 9, 1957 to Joe “Ed” Patman and Julia “Judy” Patman. He was the eldest of two brothers, and is survived by his younger brother David “Pat” Patman and his wife Beverly Patman. He graduated from Blum High School in 1975 and went on to play tight-end for Texas A&M University. He then committed his life to the development of a successful oil & gas enterprise, receiving recognition among peers and institutions.
A stout believer in Christ, he attended church regularly and enjoyed a personal relationship with the Lord. He provided for his family, cherished his friends and supported those who inspired him. He lived his life in the same way he loved those closest to him—without reservation and with his whole heart.
He is survived by his four children, Ellanie Patman, Rachel T. Patman, Stephen Patman and Daniel Patman, his nephew and his wife Caine and Tailor Patman, his great-niece and nephew Tinley and Tye, as well as his wife of one year Joan Patman. He was preceded in death by his parents and his late wife Ximena. Others who survive him include his late wife’s children and a host of family, friends and colleagues.
His generosity was abundant and he sought out the best in people. He will be missed immensely, but his legacy lives on through those who remember him as the father, husband and confidant that he endeavored to be.
