Lily Kinyon, of Black River Falls, passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born on May 1, 1942, in Innellan, Scotland, to Elizabeth and John English. Lily emigrated to the United States in 1963, where she made a life for herself and her family.
Lily was married to Robert Schnur and later to Floyd Kinyon. She worked for many years in the laundry department of Family Heritage Nursing Home before transitioning to her role as an ES Technician at Ho-Chunk Casino. In her free time, Lily enjoyed visiting the casino and watching wrestling, hobbies that brought her much joy.
Lily is survived by her sons, Del (Teri) Kinyon and Edward (Leigh) Kinyon; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Jordan) Nortman, Thomas (Hannah) Kinyon, and Izaya Kinyon; and her great-grandchildren, Camden, Grayson, and Laurel. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Annie, June, and Margaret, as well as one brother, Ian.
A funeral service will be held in the spring. The family requests that donations in Lily's memory be made to a charity of your choice. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

I baked bread yesterday to remember Lily. She taught me the recipe in 1965. I have thought about her every time I bake. She bought warmth and caring to a lot of people's lives.
