Linda Alberda Obituary

Born Nov. 30, 1956, in Cleveland, Linda lived in Tacoma Wash. before moving back to Highland Hts. 40 years ago.
Linda was the founder and Executive Director of Lake Erie Assistance Dogs (LEAD), a non-profit that provides educational and training opportunities, support, public access, and trained task videotaping and testing for all types of assistance dog teams.
She was the beloved wife for 46 years of Brent L. Alberda; loving mother of Kristen L. (Sean T.) Daniels and Devin L. Alberda; cherished grandmother of Seamus T. and Susanna L. Daniels; and aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Ann Stone; and her service dogs, Laurel, Hardy and Chaplin.
A Memorial Service for Linda will be scheduled at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
