Linda Gaye Auville, 76, of Avondale, WV, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 in Princeton Community Hospital following a long illness.
Linda was born March 27, 1948 in Horsecreek near Iaeger, WV a daughter of the late Oscar McCoy Sr. and Elizabeth Muncy McCoy. She was homemaker, a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband Richard Auville; two grandchildren, Joshua Auville and Megan Auville; three sisters, Lucille Coleman, Oreatha Shrader, and Wanda Bangert; five brothers, Oscar McCoy Jr., Otis, Pat, Frank and Ronnie McCoy.
Survivors include five sons, Keith Auville and companion Michelle of Iaeger; Kevin Auville and wife Kristi of Iaeger; Kim Auville and wife Lisa of Iaeger, Gary Auville and wife Julie of Iaeger, Terry Auville and wife Marie of Bluefield, WV; 12 grandchildren, Jeremy Auville. Laura Goodman and husband Justin, Wendy Roberts and husband Derek, Teryn Auville, Courtney Auville, Cameron Auville and wife Mikayla, Garrett Auville, Emily Auville, Ronnie Auville, Balyn Auville, Conner Auville, and Jarrett Auville; seven great grandchildren, Kaylee Auville, Hayden Goodman, Mileigh Goodman, Kiersten Roberts, Jase Roberts, Kason Goodman, and Aaron Brooks; one brother, Carl McCoy of Welch, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 12 o'clock, with Pastor Randall Dority officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in the McCoy Cemetery on Coon Branch Mountain near Iaeger, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
Friends may visit with the family Wednesday evening, May 29, 2024 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger.
Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger is assisting the family.
