Linda Diane Borelli, age 73, of Erie, passed away on Thursday December 28, 2023. She was born in Erie on December 24, 1950, a daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Sosinski) Koster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Michael Koster.
Linda graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing from Duquense University. For 40 years, she worked as a nurse in variety of roles at the Erie VA Medical Center and took great pride in caring for our veterans. She was a member of St. Peter Cathedral. Linda enjoyed making jewelry, baking, cooking, gardening, watching sunsets on the bay and her greatest joy was her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years James Borelli; two sons, Nick (Sarah) Borelli and Dan (Kristin) Borelli; five grandchildren, Roman, Iris, Jack, Annie, and Dean; six siblings, Edward (Mary Joan) Koster, Patricia (David) Rafalowski, Karen (Stephen) Tellers, Steven Koster, Michele (David) Buterbaugh and Roberta (Ed) Paradise, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Brugger Funeral Home & Crematory West 1595 West 38th St. Erie, PA 16508 on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM and are invited to a prayer service there on Wednesday morning at 9:15 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Cathedral. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation 2361 Hylan Blvd. Staten Island, NY 10306.
