Mrs. Linda Kay Brady, age 73 of Summerville, Georgia, passed away on May 16, 2025 at residence following an illness.
Linda was born in Dansville, New York on May 31, 1951, daughter of the late George E. Shellman and Mildred A. Jackman Shellman. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Linda was retired from Wal-Mart. Her children and grandchildren were her world. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bill (Barbara) Shellman; Ralph Shellman; Bob Shellman, sister, Shirley Holloway; son-in-law, Dickey Turnmire; grandchildren, Cody Seegar; and Brandon Cochran. The family would like to say a special thanks to Heyman Hospice nurse, Michelle Allie.
Linda is survived by her husband, William Levon Brady; daughter, Charlene Turnmire; son, John William(Christina) Brady; brother, Lee Shellman; sister, Alice Knight; grandchildren, Kayla & Jeff Smith; Tabitha & Adam Milam; Ashton & Kerrie Beth Brady; Samantha Seegar; Jordan & Haley Brady, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Brady will be held Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Shafer officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Olive Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Adam Milam, Cameran Aycock, Ashton Brady, Jordan Brady, Jason Trammell and Jack Holloway. Honorary Pallbearers will be Levi Seegar, Endar Trammell, John Michael Brady, Eli Brady, Grayson Milam, Brayden Wilson, Jeffrey Goins Jr., Adam Smith.
The family of Mrs. Brady will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 8 P.M. Saturday at the Coffman Funeral Home.
