Linda Denise Jones Brown was born April 9, 1960, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Joe C. and Ruth V. Loudd Jones. She passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023.
At an early age, Linda joined Evergreen Baptist Church. Linda completed her high school education at El Dorado High School. After high school, she studied General Business at South Arkansas Community College. She worked at Pilgrim Pride for a number of years. She was married to Leon Brown. She joined First Baptist Church- Cordell with her mother. She would later join Trinity Pentecostal Church, where she became a Sunday School Teacher. She was also apart of Johnson Memorial C.O.G.I.C Noon Day Prayer Ministry.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents: two brothers, Albert G. Jones and Joe C. "Chuck" Jones, Jr, and three sisters: Charlotte Jones, Delois Jones, and Joann Jones Johnson.
She is survived by three sons, Marcus A. Jones, Donald Jones, and Lynn D. Jones, all of El Dorado, AR; one daughter, Majuna R . Jones (Herbert) McGhee; four grandchildren: Trevion Traylor of Maryville, MO, Shaniya Jones of Bastrop, LA, Zaeana Jones of Hot Springs, AR, and Aiden D. Jones of Waldo, AR. One brother, Joe Charles Jones of Las Vegas; two sisters: Janiece Jones of Brinkley, CA, and Kaylene Jones (Don) Bivens; three special sisters, Dorothy Frazier, Mabelene Green, and Sherry Hill and a host of cousins and friends.
