Linda Culp Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Linda Sue Culp, age 75, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 23, 1949, in Hillsboro, Ohio, the daughter of the late Noah and Ethel (Hutchinson) Young. A lifelong resident of Hillsboro, Linda had a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. She found peace and purpose in the outdoors, especially in her garden, where she lovingly tended to her plants and flowers. Lindas greatest joy, however, came from the time she spent with those she loved. A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, she was known for her warm heart, and unwavering love for her family. Her home was a place of comfort and laughter, where memories were made, and stories were shared. Linda's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave and the life she lived will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Linda is survived by her four children, Jim Bailey of Hillsboro, Loretta Wilkin of Hillsboro, Brian (Tonya) Hall of Petersburg, and Brad (Alicia Ocull) Hall of Hillsboro; nine grandchildren, Aaron (Jessica) Bailey, Brandi (Jamie Johnson) Karnes, Ashleigh (Sheridan) Howland, Miranda (Mark Wilson) Wilkin, Kelsi (Bryan Wilmoth) Wilkin, Kevin Mongold, Kyle (Clarissa) Hall, Ashely (Justin Wolfe) Hall and Hannah (Sam Breedlove) Hall; siblings, Betty Smith of Springfield, Noah Young Jr., of Hillsboro, Loretta Shinkle of New Vienna, Janie Ward of Hillsboro, Wilbur Young of Hillsboro, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Culp two brothers, Carl and Frank Young. Celebration of her life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
