Linda L. Douglas, 83, of Burkburnett, TX passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at her home. No services are planned at this time.

Services are under the direction of Gray Funeral Home in Grandfield, OK.

Linda was born December 7, 1941 to J.R. Aubry and Bobbie Dean Brister Davidson in San Diego, CA. She grew up in Grandfield and graduated from Grandfield High School in 1959. Linda earned an Associate of Science in Nursing in 1980 from Midwestern State University and worked for the Bethania Hospital in Wichita Falls for six years. She earned a Bachelor of Education Degree from Wayland Baptist University in 1985. Linda lived in Wichita Falls for 40 years and taught for the Vernon College of Vocational Nursing Program for 22 years from 1982-2004. After retirement, she continued to work off and on as a nurse as long as her health allowed. Linda recently moved to Burkburnett to be closer to family.

She is survived by her sister, Shauna Berry of Burkburnett, TX; her nieces Renee Henslee, Robin Amos (Bill), and Lindsey Thompson (Derek); and her beloved great nephews and great niece, Conner Henslee, Cason Henslee, Brady Amos, Tyse Thompson, Tylee Thompson, and Taytum Thompson.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Dean Davidson; her father, J.R. Aubry; her step father, Cletus Davidson; her brother, John C. Aubry; her sisters, Judy Beck and Sondra Aubry; and her brothers-in-law, Garland Beck and Michael Berry.
