Linda Faye Dunn, age 68, of Valparaiso, Florida, went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 28, 2025.
Linda was born on December 3, 1956, in Panama City, Florida to James and Barbara Eggart. She was an incredible wife, mother, daughter, and sister. Linda, with the help of her husband David, cared for her parents as their health declined and they were no longer able to care for themselves. Linda gave unconditionally to those around her.
Linda had an amazing career and work life starting as a carhop when she was a teenager and working at various jobs until she ended her career working for the USAF Civil Service as a System Security Engineer. During her working career, she earned a bachelor's degree in computer information sciences and a Master's degree in Management.
Linda's accomplishments aren't limited to her work and education. One of her greatest accomplishments was raising two wonderful children, Nicholas and Kristine.
Linda loved to travel! She loved traveling for work, traveling to pick up her grandchildren and flying them back to Florida, and traveling with family. As some of her responsibilities eased, she was able to enjoy trips to Europe, Hawaii, Alaska, and Norway.
Linda was baptized at an early age; she has been a member of the Church of Christ throughout her life in various cities and states.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Barbara Eggart, and her older sister, Connie Eggart Schenkelberg. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, David Dunn, her children Nick Dunn (Alison) and Krissy Frady (Clayton), sister Suzzie Eggart Akins, and three grandchildren, Cora, Ruthie, and Josiah Dunn.

There will be a Celebration of Linda's life on Saturday, May 3, at 11 AM at the Fort Walton Beach Church of Christ, 232 Hollywood Blvd. E, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
