Linda Sue Elswick

Linda Sue Elswick, age 73, of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Marion General Hospital. She was born on December 6, 1949, to the late Clifford and Emma Harris.
Linda will be remembered as a strong Christian woman; she was often found reading her bible and other Christian literature. She would often ask for prayers for others but never for herself. She was one to check up on her friends and family, always wanting to know how they are doing and that their health was good. She loved to send cards out for any special occasion or if she knew you had been ill, a get-well card.
Linda was a strong lady, never back down when she knew she was correct but did it with a kind heart. She was always very happy, smiling, always outgoing. She loved flowers, lady bugs, butterflies, and dragonflies. She loved getting flowers, cards for those special occasions, and jewelry from her husband. Linda loved a good book and was an avid reader. Later in life, she enjoyed watching mystery shows.
Simply put Linda was a lovely woman in every regard, she had a beautiful manner and heart.
As her husband said, I know she is in heaven at this moment and will be forever. I am looking forward to seeing her again.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Emma Harris and a granddaughter Elaina.
She is survived by her husband Daniel Elswick, son Matthew Elswick, and daughter April Short. Her sister Genova (Larry) Mullins, and her grandchildren: Matthew, Jr., Randy, Christian, Chas (CJ), Dillon, Bryan, and Vincent.
