Linda Duncan Gattuso, born August 23, 1948, died on April 6, 2025. Linda was born in Allen Park, MI to Odda Lorenzetti Duncan and Doyle Duncan. She attended Cabrini High School there. The family moved to Memphis in 1969 where Linda worked as a secretary with her father at McKee Construction, a worldwide company that built the Schlitz Brewery. Linda later worked in the purchasing department at Memphis State University for 14 years. She retired from the logistics department at FedEx after 27 years.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, her older brother, Jimmy Duncan, and her sister-in-law, Antoinette Gattuso. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 54 years, Angelo Charles Gattuso, younger brother John Duncan, niece Jennifer Duncan and her dear friends Judy and Ryan Coghlan.
Linda was a loving wife who doted on her husband. She and Angelo were avid readers. They loved movies and dining out. Angelo created a beautiful garden filled with flowers, herbs, and vegetables. Linda spent many an hour in the garden enjoying its beauty as well as feeding the birds it attracted. Linda was a true animal lover. She adored her pets and treated them like royalty! Linda had a large collection of both horse and angel figurines that she treasured.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 14th at 2:00 pm at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 2300 Hickory Crest Rd. The funeral will follow at 2:30 pm. Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
