Linda Grove, 81, of Fenwick Island Delaware passed peacefully away on April 15, 2025. She was raised in Alexandria, Virginia and is the beloved daughter of the late John Milton and Eva Hancock Harding. Growing up Linda spent joyful sunshine filled summers with her family in Ocean City, Maryland.
Linda's life was defined by a wonderful love story with her husband of 60 years, the late Robert Lee Grove. She was adored by her daughters Robin (Dan) and Cindy (Todd). She leaves behind a legacy of love to her grandchildren, Nicolas, Travis, Tyler, Emily, Mason, Madeline and McKenna. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Linda earned a Fine Arts degree from Mary Washington College and enjoyed trying her hand at various art styles. She worked as a graphic designer at the Potomac News while living in Lake Ridge, Virginia. She was creative and joyful in her work.
Linda and Bob loved their years living near the beach in Delaware. Linda delighted in hunting for sea shells and sitting on the beach and was overjoyed to share those activities with her children and grandchildren. On quieter days Linda enjoyed gardening and fishing with Bob. It was a beautiful life.
A celebration of her life will be planned with dates to be determined. In lieu of flowers, please consider a charitable donation to the Alzheimer's Association. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Linda, please visit our floral store.
