Linda Heath Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ofield Funeral Home on Aug. 1, 2025.

Our beloved mother, Ms. Linda Sue Heath, aged 74, was received into the loving arms of her savior on August 1, 2025 surrounded by her family at St. Mary's hospital. Linda was born on February 10, 1951 in Grand Rapids, MI, to Eldon and Jennie Boshoven. She grew up in Grand Rapids and attended Ottawa Hills schools. She later earned her diploma as a graduate of Sparta High School's adult education program while she worked and raised four sons. She enjoyed bowling at Sparta Lanes in her free time with her family.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Raymond, David, and Eldon Boshoven, two sisters; Sally Hardy and Diane Cook, two nephews; Raymond Boshoven, Jr. and Adam Olszewski, great nephew; Sgt. Matthew Alan Webber, two nieces; Jamie Hardy and Beth Cook, and her dear son; James "Jimmy" Seibold.

She is survived by her sons, William "Billy" Seibold, Corey (April) Seibold, and Joseph "Joey" Seibold as well as her youngest sister, Leone, and several nephews, nieces, and their families. Family meant everything to Linda. So, after many years of enjoying small town life in Sparta, she moved back to Grand Rapids and purchased a townhome in Northlake Village Co-Op. She took great pleasure in family cookouts and adventures because two of her sisters lived in the adjacent townhouses and they maintained close relationships with each other and their children.

Linda retired from Arbor Circle in 2017 after decades of dedicated service as an administrative assistant, where she utilized her organizational and multi-tasking skills and was very well liked by coworkers and clients. After her retirement, she spent her time peacefully at her home with her sons and her cat Zoey.

Linda lived a gracious life. Whether she was reading her bible or her kindle, watching her favorite design shows or sci fi movies, shopping at local stores, talking on the phone with loved ones, visiting with relatives and neighbors, cooking Sunday dinner or dining at Russ' (her favorite restaurant), or going on an outing with her sisters or sons, she was content and happy. Linda was a kind, devout woman with a heart of gold. Her guidance, patience, love, devotion, and support will be cherished and forever missed in our lives. Until we meet again Mom. May you Rest in Peace.
