Zoe Seewald Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ofield Funeral Home on Aug. 12, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Zoe Lynn Seewald, 15, of Coopersville, MI passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025. Born February 15, 2010 in Muskegon, she was the daughter of Jamie and Adam Seewald. Zoe could be described as the embodiment of a human Sour Patch Kid, having mastered the delicate balance of being both incredibly sweet and just the right amount of feisty. She was looking forward to entering her sophomore year at Coopersville High School in the coming weeks but loving the time spent with family and friends throughout her summer as well. Zoe participated in dance and gymnastics classes for many years. She also enjoyed the outdoors; going fishing and camping were some of her favorite activities. Like many teenagers, Zoe was always on board for fast food and Starbucks, but she would tell you that absolutely nothing topped her Grandma Betsy's biscuits and gravy!

In addition to her parents, Jamie and Adam, Zoe is survived by her best friend and sister, Bella; grandparents, John and Beverly Barrett, Marc and Betsy Buchner and Jane and Richard Seewald; and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too numerous to list by name. Zoe is also survived by her boyfriend, Keith Kellogg, Jr., with whom she spent countless hours and whose company she seemed to prefer above all others.

Friends are welcome to visit with the family at a viewing at Ofield Funeral Home on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. In accordance with the wishes of the family, cremation will take place privately following the viewing. A memorial visitation will also take place at Coopersville Bible Church, 35 Hillcrest Street, Coopersville, on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and a Celebration of Life service will begin at 4:00 PM. Zoe's favorite color was pink. In her honor, please wear pink as we gather to celebrate her beautiful life.
