Linda was affectionately known as a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. She attended Buck Run Baptist Church. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. Linda was a hairdresser for a short time graduating from Voyage Beauty College where she won 1st place in the state of Indiana and multiple other awards for hairdressing. Once she married, she retired and became a full-time homemaker and Mother to her biggest joy her children.
She was born August 14th, 1944, in Plymouth, IN to Jesse and Myrtle Smith. Linda was preceded in death by the love of her life, Kenneth J. Henry, and her parents Jesse and Myrtle Smith. Linda is survived by her two sons, Christopher (Denyse) Henry of Avon, Colorado and Michael (Dawn) Henry of Georgetown, Kentucky and five precious grandchildren who she cherished dearly. Briley (Joseph) DeGennaro, Mason Henry, Alex Henry, Brody Henry, and Jack Henry. She is also survived by her brother Dan (Janet) Smith of Koontz Lake, Indiana.
"Eternal love is the bond that holds two souls together through time", Linda is now reunited with her beloved husband, Ken, and she can now fly high with the love of the holy spirit.
Visitation will be at 9:30 - 11:30 Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home in Georgetown, Kentucky. Services will follow at 11:30 at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Friends and family are encouraged to leave messages of condolences and share memories here on Linda's tribute wall.
